I shot my first silhouette last winter. I was inspired by an ad in a magazine and I said to my daughter, "put your coat on, we are going for a drive". I knew of this field with a beautiful horizon and I wanted to get a shot of my daughter and our dog. Well, it doesn't happen often but it turned out better than I imagined.

Silhouettes are fairly easy but can be difficult to maintain creativity. The colors are never bland but sometimes finding the right pose can be challenging.

I recorded a short video and editing tutorial on shooting silhouettes. It is very easy to follow and you will find some tips for creating brilliant colors.
