A few months ago, I was asked to photograph my dear friend and fellow photographer, Charlene and her dog, Emmet.  Emmet is a Great Dane.  Immediately, he wanted to investigate his surroundings.  By doing so, he pulled Charlene in 5 different directions.  He was a typical child.  Dogs are not very different from children.  They can be frightened if they meet someone new, they can be full of energy when they see room to run and play.  They can be stubborn and act completely opposite from their normal behavior.  As a photographer, I believe Emmet behaved wonderfully and as expected.  He stole the show and I just adore these two as well as these images.
